We analysed, my college Jan Schilder and myself, about 550-600 cows in total. Haven't counted them excactly.

It were not really big herds and we did only the cows that were used for breeding. The cull cows and the cows for a beef bull were not analysed offcourse. Many herds had a bull between the heifers so we do them next year.

Re: aAa in Northern Ireland and Ireland

I have analyzed last week in Cork and Kerry in de South of Ireland for a small group of dairybreeders.

In June I will go to the nothern part of the
Irish 'continent'. The aAa breedingguide is more and more in demand in Ireland.

People who are interested in knowing more about making more commensense matings resulting in above avarage daughters from bulls, let me know.

[email protected]

tel 0031 561421202

Tommorrow I leave for the aAa conference in Vermont. All the aAa approved analysers will be there, about 20 in total.

Re: aAa in Northern Ireland and Ireland

The aAa/Weeks Analysis in Northern Ireland and Ireland is scheduled from June 15 till June 22.

There are about 25 herds that have their cows analysed already, a number that is growing steadily.

Recently we developed a new website http://aaa.senscia.com . On this website you can find all sorts of information about aAa. In a new section people can find the "My aAa Manager", here they can search for aAa numbers on certain bulls (database of 30 000 officially analysed bulls. It also can provide you a printable list off the bulls you are using suitable per aAa number. The "My aAa Manager" is a FREE service.

Greetings Marcel Verboom
