Pasta will be the next 97 point cow.

97!? No way. She looked good but not 97. IMO Seisme shouldn't be 97 either.

I don't think Seisme should be 97. Phenomenal mammary on her but nothing else grabs me about her. Apple, for her age, looked very much the part on show day. I doubt we'll be seeing Seisme in the show ring at Apple's age in the future

Yeah I felt the same way about Seisme, I wasn't blown away by her. Apple has too much reverse tilt and so do her clones. But I don't know if I've ever seen that much rib on a cow! Her frame is incredible. What was even more impressive was how much of an influence she had on the red and white catalog. Both top and bottom sides of a lot of the animals had Apple in them.

She does have tilt to her udder but she is just about 11 years old now so I don't hold it against her. To have an 11 year old cow look that good is an incredible feat. From the sideview Seisme looks like a big, strong framed cow but she does seem a tad narrow through her frame and rib. Maybe she will develop more as she ages.

Seisme was the winner in the udder but Apple's is the winner if you're looking for frame quality in the aged cows.

Agreed, I was still very impressed with Apple.

What did you think of the B&W show? Would you go with Hailey? I would have made the Attic Sr 3 HM Grand. I think she could win the whole show in her lifetime if nothing happens to her!

I admire Marcy. She is a massive cow height wise. I dislike her tailhead/rump.

I like the Brooks cow. Nice udder with great balance, veination. She's balanced from hooks to pins. Strong in her frame and overall very correct without being too extreme. I like her rump better than Marcy and a shorter/straighter rear pastern. Shes also a little smaller; more functional in size.

They are both going to age very well. I see Marcy being this massive framed aged cow which seems off considering she is an Attic daughter.

I wasnt at the show, but based on pictures from numerous photographers and websites, Seisme lacked the overall "oomph" i.e. spring and sweep to rib and fill to her flank. Granted her udder blew apple outa the water. I love apples frame and quality and legs. Both amazing cows in their own right of course.
Marcy for me is major show cow, she grabs you when she walks in, longer, taller than the rest, if you're picky about her, maybe she's a hair short in her fore udder, and not quite as wide through the top of her udder as you'd like. If she lasts to be an old cow, she'll be the next great one.
No comment on Brooks. legs/mobility are her issue (a little soft on her pastern?) But she's BALANCED. that's all i'll say about her haha.
