Milking Earnhardt's

We are milking one, 4 months fresh. Peaked at 96# 2x so far, Tall, long, feminine, really good feet. Nice udder shape and quality, slightly wide teat placement. Dam is VG Domain, then Goldwyn, Shottle Ili(88pts), then Ito Isa. So type should be pretty good from the cow family. Anyone milking any, seen milking dtrs elsewhere? Powerball calves on the ground? Thanks

So far his classification in Canada is pretty ugly, looks like it is the fore udders that are hurting them.

Do you think that fore udder is a problem with a lot of Man-o-Man blood?

Problem as in people don't find it a sexy fore udder or actual problem with being a functional fore udder.

Checking CDN about half of Man-O-Man's are negative for fore udder, Uno looks like the best. Polled guys have heavily invested in Earnhardt's blood so it will be interesting to see what happens when he has a real proof.

He's pretty crap on type in Canada, nearly all ET's, just 40% GP and better. Just breeding according to predigree, MOM out of Lawn Boy, you cannot expect much more.

Doesn't look great so far, but that's only 15 daughters classed too.

Not only ET's, but serious type pedigrees as well with dams by Goldwyn, Windbrook, Snowman and Advent, and a lot from high profile herds. Forget about this Earnhaert I would suggest, there are many better bulls around

oh awesome, judge a bull based on daughters Canadian classification of all things. Canadian proof let alone type proof stopped being relevant for anyone outside Canada 20 years ago.
