give them a few months; sometimes the ones that look frail often come back to surprise.

Re:
The fore udders don't look very good. They are honestly one of the worst 2 Year Olds I have seen. And one of them was from a Fortune that had very good type.

Re: WORST BULL EVER USED?
Fortune contains the blood that Ned Boy was made from maybe by using a double (Ned Boy) Mascot bull u brought some Ned Boy type to the surface.Although Man-O-Man needs a bull like the Mascot type strong with great fore attachments as Man-O-Man is more of the Luke kind.

Re: WORST BULL EVER USED?
I'm surprised to read Okendo among a list of bulls that you've used, Silberhof. Judging by the names of bulls you often mention, I wouldn't have expected a Winchester x Mountain x Curious. Was it contract matings? What was actually wrong with them? I must say my opinion is quite mixed, he's not the worst bull France has produced lately but he's lost a lot of his initial appeal now that he looks average for health traits and mediocre as sire of sons (seems Winchester is a good transmitter of his numerous flaws...).

Re: WORST BULL EVER USED?
Yes it was a contract mating and of corse we only got heifers out of the mating. :-(
I have to say that the feet and legs have been very good.
Short neck, no dairycharacter, and way too much udder volume.
No Style.
But I knew the pedigree of this bull so I was not surprised.

Re: WORST BULL EVER USED?
don't you hate it when you get precisely what the pedigree says and not what the numbers say

And where did you get the information to come to the conclusion about what the pedigree says?? The numbers?
How many times has the pedigree been wrong??

Re: WORST BULL EVER USED?
well he says he got what the pedigree suggested not what the ai company that did the mating anticipated. I mean why would you use a bull whose daus may look like the full sisters?
ie. once upon a time there was a bull called jed.many people on here do not have fond memories of him.He had a marvellous proof type wise but you had to protect him on front teat placement.
Neighbours down the raod used him ......their jed daus were short ,fat round, 44 gallon drum shaped with 4 short legs and they couldn't understand why .....
WHY is his dam was a sweet haven tradition daughter the highest classified one ever. At the other end of the bell curve traditons were short, thick and round altho they had tidy udders. It was all there in the pedigree.Just depends which way the dice rolls on the day
