Re:
Not a bad situation to be in, 3 omans, just take a minute and have a look at what has worked, goldwyn is obviously the magic cross on oman, maybe something like dempsey, a goldwyn with strength. A mogul son not out of an oman bloodline to help those udders, maybe something like Estate, mogul x Bookem (former number 1 and 2 bulls) x shottle. Proven type with udder traits would be mccutchen in my opinion.

Re:
Mogul x Freddie works a treat, why not Mogul x Oman?
Or my new favourite bull: 14H7726 Prestige (Supersire x Mogul)

Re: Breeding an Oman daughter
One of my Omans is in heat today. I was actually contemplating serving her with Mogul.

Re: Breeding an Oman daughter
I used some of the last Oman straws sold in the UK, more than happy with the results.
Functional cows with no type problems including udders. Some very youthful 3rd calvers around.I'm using Sveen P or Balu PP on them.

Re: Breeding an Oman daughter
I think we must have used Oman at the same time Mark, as my purchase was also some of the last Oman sold in the UK. My oldest 2 are just fresh about a month in their 3rd lactation also!
Mine don't have any problems caused by their type, but their udders are functional but plain.

Not over doing it on production but hopefully the extra longevity will make up for that..
