Re: Monument Impression

I hear he is now has 750 doses on back order for Australia alone.
my spring calves all appear to have longer bottom jaws and are biters rather than suckers. Not as strong as I expected either

I live in Ontario, Canada. I had to wait 2 months because he was on back order. I was warned by the sales rep that he throws huge calves.

Re: Monument Impression

On balance I am disappointed with my Impression daughters.

They don't seem to have fulfilled their promise. Not that they are poor, just not as good as they looked like they might be at one stage.

My opinion maybe skewed because my best one has gone really crampy despite only being a three year old. The first crampy cow I have had for a long time.

I went back and used him again because I liked mine before they calved. I have a number of cows in calf to him but I slightly regretting that now.

Saying that I have see quite a few at sales etc that I have really liked.

Re: Monument Impression

I kept a bull calf out of an imported linjet as a possible herd sire and I may yet crunch him as his front knees actually touch and this coming from a cow whose front legs are a foot apart.

This bull was impossible to get in Europe in the beginning years.

Although, we have recently inseminated the first cows.

Re: Monument Impression

Pretty dissappiointed to be honest. Used him a little (on a couple half decent repeats) because some friends with very good herds in wales and Yorkshire had a lot of fantastic heifers but I glad I’ve only got 2 calves by him!
