Gen-Mar Stmatic Sanchez
Has anyone actually had a chance to view some his first crop daughters? With over 3.00 for all his type composites he certainly is appealing.
I am not too familar with winchester's breeding pattern - what would you protect when breeding a "Winchester"?

Re: Gen-Mar Stmatic Sanchez
You have to protect on chest width. He was used alot around here and they could be weak. We had one winchester that went 86 and made over 200,000 lifetime. She was extremely wide in her chest but that was due to the fact she was out of a Tomar Starwalker that was built like a dump truck.

No clue on Sanchez, just answering the question "What would you protect when breeding a winchester".

Thanks for the feedback Jeash. I am starting to wonder how much more BW Marshall influence our herd will take but with some Stormatic in the mix it should be alright.

Re: Gen-Mar Stmatic Sanchez
A fella not to far away from me went down to a show in maine and to make a long story short he left 2-3 cows down there to get flushed to him and have the embryos sexed. This was before his proof came out so his daughters must look wicked and have people talking.

Re: Gen-Mar Stmatic Sanchez
His components are bad enough....got that from stormatic. I'm hearing good things about Sanchez daughters as well. I have used him quite a bit in the past 2 months and have had success flushing with him as well.

We're flushing a Goldwyn heifer to him on Wednesday. Apparently, the daughters are looking fantastic.

Sanchez's genomics are lower than his proof. I can't remember the exact numbers but they were lower.
