Fabdec/ Semex Heat time

I have several clients that have purchased this system & without exception the results are all positive.

Mole Valley Farmers in the U.K also offer this system particularly in the South West ... not sure if that gives you a bargaining chip???

Appeal is the simplicity of it if you want a stand alone system.

So I've got a rough idea how much this will cost me now. Has anybody penciled it out to see how long it will take to pay for itself? I'll probably be doing that soon here.

Tail chalking and crossbreds is a pickle, so I'm thinking I'm going to need this system.

We've had ours up and running for a couple months now.

Using a combination of this, tail paint and our own records, we've had over 35 heats and inseminations over the last 30 days.

i've never used heattime before but last week I moved to a new farm that has it installed, after one week and no instruction i can use it quite well. Impressively simple, effective system.

Has anyone heard any reports on the 'new' Heatime Horizon system?
It uses long range technology via an aerial mounted on a shed roof to pick up heats even while cows (or more particularly heifers) are grazing, without the need to have them pass under an infra-red reader. Supposedly it's more accurate and allows for better heat detection in heifers.
Apparently the battery life of the collars is compromised though?
