A normal baseball game runs about 3 hours. Some can be as short as two hours, others as long as 4. Extra inning games can go on for 5 or more. Those are rare.

I feel for you, having to sit in the Metrodome. That place is a dump.

Twins got themselves a new park this year though I wonder how many snow delays we'll see in April. Glad we have a retractable roof in Milwaukee, it is definitely worth it.

I really wish MLB would establish a salary cap, sort of like what football does. It bugs me at how the Yankees, Mets, Redsox, ect. can spend more on a couple free agents than the entire Marlins roster each year. There seems to be little parity in baseball anymore and you can write off half the teams before the season even starts. I would sure hate to be a Royals or Pirates fan right now. Then there are the Cubs who have terrific fan support, and are willing to spend money but still never win. (Sorry Jeash)

The cubs were set up to do well with their pitching staff, until Dusty Baker got a hold of them.

Aye! Shiver me timbers, I like pirates too. I heard that Keira Knightly lost her acting job on the Disney Pirates next movie because her breasts weren't big enough. All actresses have to have at least a c cup or need not apply for a role. It used to take make- up artists 45 minutes to create the illusion of breasts on her. She had to walk the plank, so to speak.

Can't stand the Yankees, but good to see Granderson getting an opening day homer.
