Braxton is certainly a strength bull, and I can attest that from personal experience.

Re:
Well my braxton heifer is doing well, lovely veiny udder, teats perfectly positioned, nice central ligament, great rump, lovely frame and not overly tall, first milk recording she tested 4.2 bf % and doing 34 litres at present, really can't fault her, but there's always time

Re:
Plenty of milk then
I wouldn't care much for her protein test
being paid on a milk solids basis doesn't leave any room in the herd for low percentages

Re:
Our only Braxton is very tall, ultra dairy, not much daylight between her front legs. Her udder is decent and she milks like stink, now completed 305 days 12,500 3.15 Fat 2.99 Protein. She held first time to Flame.

Re:
Cowgirl a test at 3.00% protein means 1.5cpl less and heading into a tough milk price year I'll stand by my opinion.
Every litre costs the same to produce so I want to pack as much fat & protein into each litre as I can
I don't think I can do that with Braxton, people on a different milk contract may have another opinion

Re:
One cow giving 3 in a herd of 50 cows doing over 3 won't really make a lot of difference, the improvement in milk yield, body capacity and feet & legs was my goal for breeding her mother to braxton. So far so good.
