We update on my braxton, she's still milking super well, butterfat lower now, tho she is on grass. After calving was vet checked 30 days post calving, clean and healthy inside, tho at 90 days calved had shown no sign of heat(or we missed it) was injected and brought back into the system, massive strong heat was ai'd and is pregnant to first service.

I have a Braxton I purchased as a calf from a Sanchez she went 84 pts as a heifer going on to give 12229 kgs at 3.98% BF she took 4 services to get pregnant although first 3 were to sexed then holding to Cinderdoor conv.

Had a braxton calve for the 3rd time as a 4 yr old only 23 mths after first calf (and she had a heifer from sexed semen) just to prove that they can breed back ok. MGS Boss Iron
Also sent a braxton to the choppers yesterday from one of my favourite cows because she was still open 18mths and got mastitis for the 5th time. I realise she should have been gone long ago but she was a good thing out of one of my favourite cows.
