we are also in northern vic and have had 2 inches so far this week.It is extremely TROPICAL .......almost as tho someone is standing on the roof with a watering can waiting for you to leave the house and then sprinkling on you.At least the locusts have currently gone quiet.Apparently what was in NW vic is still coming.
The boss was supposed to be in toowoomba for a funeral tuesday morning but between when they left here and flew into brisbane monday toowoomba flash flooded and the highway up the range from brisbane flooded and landslipped.Fortunately he was able to get an earlier flight out of brisbane than the 6pm one at no extra charge.Consider ourselves lucky he didnt get up to toowoomba before it all went down as all roads out are pretty much closed.Still a worrisome time tho as we have many friends and rellies in the lockyer valley and eastern downs.
