RUAS Balmoral Show

Has the RUAS lost its way? We went to this year's show to give the new site another try after last year's shambles regarding the traffic management!

This year we flew into the car-park, thankfully , however there was where it ended. We queued for over half an hour to get into the showgrounds, having bought our early-bird tickets online, perhaps the RUAS may wish to consider MORE than just one entrance gate!!

I may be odd, but I go to an agricultural show to see livestock. So how about a dander round the livestock halls to let the kids see the cattle?............ Eh, NO!!

H&S kicks in and us normal folk are not allowed in to see the cattle while judging is going on, in-case someone steps in a fresh one!

I think we'll wait a good few years before we bother going back, hopefully by then they will have ALL the 'teething troubles' fixed!

---
Please Sir, I want some more, cos as we all know 'every little helps'!

We had the same experience as you Will, flew into the car park and queued for 40 mins to get in through the gates. I was very disappointed in the way it was run, it has a huge site why was it all so cramped up in the one corner? the organisers need to go to some big shows in england and see how its done.

Didnt bother going this year, would far rather do a weekend at the royal highland, at least when im standing in a different county(35 mins flight away) I dont have to rush home to do anything, plus Edinburgh seems to make me consume several gallons of alchol when I visit emoticon
