On about June 14,
The product of one of our imports will be avalible in the USA.see mays Holstein world for more info.....
Judging by our recent calves we think he will be a genuine calving ease bull.

Re: selling ice to eskimos
we implanted 4 embryos for 3 bulls and a heifer. The heifer should be calving soon but I wont be seeing her til she gets home..
we kept leashas threat because he was most like threat.Peel Valley did have first choice and came and looked several times over their raising period(they took him because 30 years ago they had had great success with a threat son called ROXY D from milamor roxette who incidently is also at the start of this pedigree.)gold threat was sold to a farmer near us as a herdsire.
Triple ace was the bull who was in the middle between Goldwyn and threat.Ours was more chunky and gold threat was more dairy.
In terms of brood cow power in the first 4 generations we have BARBs,Zandra,Delia and Lana(ROXIES).the last 3 have all been mated to a wide variety of bulls from index to type and everything in between and had few failures in terms of milking females.
Sooo we now have calves on the ground by both Ace and LT.We think Ace will be a genuine calving ease bull his calves are almost jersey like in size and pop out like peas.Their attitude is amazing. We feed our cavles in pens of 6 with a divided feeder and ace heifers can drink faster than anyone even calves bigger and older than them. They are extremely aggressive and will shunt you along if you are too slow delivering the goods.
They look very correct and are growing well.

Re: selling ice to eskimos
to date no one in Canada.
we are investigating who actually does aAa in Australia given the queries over that.
His full sister calved in last night.
She had a huge limosine bull unassisted sometime between 9.30pm and midnight which was when she was checked out on the pasture.
2nd milking tonight she was last cow on the 2nd run in ,surprised me.So far has been well behaved and looks really nice. The limo was a solid red so she ,thankfully, has the red factor.
Leasha's threat also has started throwing gingery calves and one red that looks like a bad hair dye job... black roots.

Re: selling ice to eskimos
well this has been and still is a work in progress I have been told that as ABS Australia have also started distributing him if anyone in the usa wants to use him they should ask their rep to order it and it should come.
In the meantime we have had the 2 full bros genomiced and red carrier tested. It appears not too complicated or expensive to qualify one ourselves for usa/canada/nz.I suppose if anyone wants more info I can email them the results
