Re: seagull bay silver
Tiger Lilly Ladd P for Shaw daughters it might not be a fancy cross but it is something different.

Re:
My Shaws are aggressive eaters too. I recall one in a hutch pawing at the end of its chain like a dog, for another pail of milk.
I'd probably throw mogul into a shaw. Or if you just want a good cow and not chasing index, go back to Sequoia (Boliver x Ramos) or Mayhem (Jose x Potter, 5.9PL, 2.8 DPR, 1600 milk, but won't be improving any components).

Ya, he's a little trickier to breed with, he has a sire stack of so many influential bulls.

Re: seagull bay silver
My first Silver calved the other day. I am really pleased with how it looks. Balanced heifer with a really nice udder.
I don't think it has stopped eating since it calved! It looks like it will milk well.
It does seem though that it's teat ends are a little open. It is very free to milk.

Re: seagull bay silver
I am milking 3 Silvers. Admittedly all 3 are full sisters but I am very impressed with them.
Great udders and lots of milk.
My best one scored 87 points with an Ex mammary. It is a bit coarse of its hock bones otherwise would have made 88.
