I agree. Engel's cow is ideal. Should be a committee cow, and she lives in a freestall!!

I kind of agree about Seisme's legs, and her front end bothers me. I understand Apple's foreudder is an issue. But I like Apple's frame and legs quite a bit more. Either way, it was history in the making watching those two go at it in the same class! 96 and 97 in the same class in the reds!!

emoticon He got them right for senior champ and grand! i believe apple should have stood over seisme [sign in to see URL] is move youthful at 2years older n a better cow. Seisme you are so right dabble does not desevre 97pt with those legs if you are scored 97 you better not have any holes

I started watching online at the 4 year olds and I assumed the Luck-E cow had it in the bag for Overall Grand. The Intermediate champ was awesome, but I was hoping Kandie would win after getting past all the talk of Seisme vs Apple.

As much as I say "holy crap" every time I see Apple in the ring, the close up of her udder bums me out because the reverse tilt and the short back teats is the exact type of cow I can't have with the robot. It puts me off considering her sons and grandsons because of it. I would love to use the Absolute son coming out from Luck-E Advent Asia, [sign in to see URL] scares me.

mistyglen i can totally belive those short back teats would scare the hell out of you but the tilt comes from being [sign in to see URL] your decision but that family transmits and that frame and feet n legs will last a long time in any setup

I think the tilt is genetic, as all of her clones seem to have it. The futurity winner was another clone - and it is pretty apparent in her udder. Regardless, if she's mated to a good udder bull, I think it can be corrected. I'll be excited to see the Armani's calve in.

I don't think we're going to win the fantasy exhibitor - at least I'm not. But then again, I'll take ownership of Marcy anyday!

let me restate that PA i do agree with you that the tilt is genectic i just believe on a normal milking interval not 20hrs of milk in the apple's it wouldn't be a problem for the robots. i think on normal intervals the udder floor would b flat enough. i could be wrong though
