Guthrie probably does not need more dairyness but compared to Atwood he looks average for dairy character +19 vs +7 is a very big difference for me but it is not that bad Freddie has bad dairy character at -14 he is worse than Paclamar Astronaut who was born in 1964 and is still rated -10 for dairy character on his GEBV proof.

Destry is another bull that does not need dairyness but he would also be a great cross with Corvette if his Genomics are accurate adding more strength and straight legs I don't think u can have to much dairyness with what bulls are coming along in the future because lots of them are really lacking this trait.

Please don't think that cows that are more dairy are better cows, they are just more suitable for the show circuit, that's something completely different.

The older show sires like Linjet and Red Marker don't do well for dairy character either, according to current standard.

Zuba was born in 1932 she has a good deal of dairy quality through the neck shoulder and head I dont believe dairyness is a new trait at all.

I don't see much difference these days. Goldwyn is still positive for strength in the US. Get real.

Linjet,Redmarker,Interity=strength. ...Goldwyn and his sons dairyness probably sure but frail! Think king mambo is right if he would say dairy strength is going to be hard to find in future generations

Will his strength linear go negative with the base change? I feel like anything under +1 is negative, even though it technically isn't. Just seems to me if you are under the 1 you are probably not transmitting strength anyhow or are inconsistent in that trait at the least.

I find there is no point looking at strength without looking at sature.

Negative stature and +1 for strength will give you wide cows.

+3 for stature and +1 for strength will give you tall narrow cows.
