Most"alternative"products work great for a few months and then problems creep up. Most are very acidic and actually hurt the hoof.nondisclosed_email@example.com (drdiederich)Sat, 03 Jan 2015 19:05:11 +0000 Re:https://bcowtalk.runboard.com/p439738,from=rss#post439738https://bcowtalk.runboard.com/p439738,from=rss#post439738We started using Healmax Footbath last march and I will never change products. Works great to help heal, but the biggest changes are a significant reduction in new cases. Due to the layout of the barn we are fortunate enough to be able to run our bred heifers through the bath twice a week, so we rarely get heifers calving in with strawberry. Only downside is the cost.nondisclosed_email@example.com (AmandaS101)Sat, 03 Jan 2015 18:52:26 +0000 Footbathhttps://bcowtalk.runboard.com/p439737,from=rss#post439737https://bcowtalk.runboard.com/p439737,from=rss#post439737Anyone try rock salt as a foot bath?
