Mating Suggestions for My Only Holstein Heifer
I was curious as to what other breeders would suggest as to what bull I should use on my heifer. She is an Advent x VG-88 Ex Mammary Talent x EX-90 Ex Mammary Aeroline x Elkendale Cleitus Impala

Maybe McCutchen, would have said Doorman, but for $100 a unit, might want a cheaper alternative. If you don't mind giving up milk, Armani.

Hmm... surprisingly, I actually agree with King. Fever would make a nice mating. I was thinking about adding a little more milk than that, but fever would be a better mating especially for rump angle.

Fever has very few sons unlike Mccutchen and in a position were both bulls could work I would want to use Fever first and then use a Mccutchen son like Mcgucci on any possible Fever daughter.
Gold Chip would be another bull that may work well but he also has many sons like Corvette who may work well with Fever daughters as well.The positive side to Gold Chip would be that he could work well with Mccutchen and Windbrook blood in the future unlike Fever who might not work as well with the Windbrook sons as Gold Chip might do so u may have more potential from a Gold Chip daughter.

If Red is your thing I would look at Destry his calving ease is average and he is available Sexed.
Blondin Lotus RC the Goldwyn brother to Barbwire also looks a great prospect that has made some very smart heifers his calving ease is at 9%.
