UK exit of the EU

With the leave vote winning today, what's going to happen now?

I'm wondering if Scotland will call for another independence vote after today's result.

Re: UK exit of the EU

No one really knows what lies on the road ahead, I personally voted remain on the grounds of the positves outweighing the negatives of being in the EU and my distrust of the Westminster government and their serious lack of support for British farming plc.

As far as beef and lamb are concerned Europe is our biggest customer any trade barriers put in place will only cause harm yet to see how any new deals are to be negotiated.

It means an end to British farmers recieving EU subsidy which is the lifeline which keeps many afloat, I seriously doubt Westminster will drop any of the red tape we currently need to endure to get our sub yet replace it with anything! Complicated subject!

Re:

Seems to me on the outside looking in that its a protest vote against the establishment, ill thought out regarding the repercussions of leaving.

It also leaves us in Ireland a little further from the EU so to speak, not a position I'm altogether comfortable with.
