Milk blister or bleb

Good morning,
I often find we know more about animals than humans. According to human science they say they don't know what causes blebs. A bleb in humans is when the nipple gets plugged with skin growing over the one tube and filled with white fluid. It causes an appearance of a plugged duct. A mother can try to allow the baby to nurse through to break the bleb or have it lanced or poke a hole herself. In dairy cows, what is the cause of this? I ask because personally it's reoccurring for me, which causes a blister, which causes pain. I thought the smartest and best answers would come from dairy farmers. Thank you for your time.
Warm regards,
Fern
