Dairy shows no retail value to its customers

The EU courts recently put out legislation that prohibits plant based companies from using the word “dairy” on its packaging, since then dairy farmers, have also taken the initiative to try and drive retailers to segregate milk products from alternatives. This is done with the hopes of diverting away confusion for the consumer. The real question at hand however, is whether dairy has met its match? Even with the new EU law imposed customers are still buying alternative products, so could it be confusion or has the dairy market milked its self-dry appealing to the consumer.
