Re: HUKI SALE
Mark,
Ignorance and prejudice have been two of my best breeding tools!!!!!!!!
No, it's true!!
IGNORANCE of some of the more ridiculous schools of thought, has been an advantage.
(Concentrate on breeding cows with short teats, to increase longevity, for example!!)
PREJUDICE against bulls that appear much better than their pedigree suggests they might be, has also helped.
Yes, I will have passed over a few missed opportunities, but more often, serious pitfalls have been avoided.
I have always admired the Gloriette family and will be delighted if this heifer makes a "headline" price.
I bought a Principal at this same sale in 2002, so I can't be too prejudice against him!!
I would also like to see Kenny and Ed Seaton have a good day, I believe that they both have quality products to sell!!!
And of course Morty Erle is bound to cause a bit of a stir!! As is a red August.
LET THE SALE BEGIN!!!!
(Thanks Jim3 for interpreting my comments in a positive manner!!)

We bid on the Tara but didn't buy her she made 4K
Not many real bargins but Miller's Rudolph at 1800gns was cheap.
