Re: HUKI SALE
Well done Mark, nice purchase. If one of Amy's sons comes through that will be a bloody good calf to have in the barn!

Re: HUKI SALE
I know I promised to fill in the sale details yesterday but that was before I knew I was going to come off second best with a heifers hoof and spend the day in casualty!
Anyway there is a full report on the HUK site now :
Jonny, the Magna Erle made 2000gns ,I had her marked in my catalogue but changed my mind when I got there! The rest you mentioned are in the list of top sellers.
I am delighted with the Amy calf ,she would of been our first choice although the other calf was chosen first. After what you said Bigbird I looked up the two Progress bulls on Holstein Canada and both have an early proof but neither look startling! All I care about is that she starts a good family at Bickleygate anything else is a bonus!!

Re: HUKI SALE
Have never seen or heard what the red aug calf sold for, and dammed if I can find it anywhere. I know Mark posted a link to the sale results, but I can't find them.

Re: HUKI SALE
She made 13,500gns (gn=£1.05) wasn't at the sale so I dont know how good she was but she looked nice in the pictures.

Re: HUKI SALE
Didn't see her myself before she went up for the sale, but a friend who did said it was a real good calf.
