Show Judging
What a breath of fresh air it was to witness the superb judging of John Gribbon as the Royal earlier in the week,,John having spent so many years at the business end of a show cow brought all his vast experience and knowhow into the middle of the ring and with it the honesty and integrity that a major show deserves,,listening to the comments throughout the country beforehand from those at the top regarding the selection of John as judge for this years show, then seeing how the exhibitors welcomed him surely sends a clear message to those that matter that the guys who spend many thankless hours in preperation of the show teams as well as large sums of money need more of a voice in the selection of judges for the great cows we now have in this country.
