What is allowed at your show?

What is allowed at your red&white shows?Do they have to be a purebred ? (ie,holstein ,red dane,)Are percentages allowed?Do they go by color or genotype?
I ask because the word on the street is the Canadian red&white shows are going to be for only red&white holsteins that have been genotyped e/e.
This is not the Red & White Dairy Cattle Associations policy. They base elegibility on coat color only.

In the Netherlands we aren't that fussy about purebreds etc. As a rule the coat color determines where they are going to be shown. Couple of years ago there was a completely black Lord Lily daughter at our national Holstein show that was out of a Brown Swiss cross.

To show a B&W Lord Lily at a R&W show, seems a bit extreme.
ilander - if my wife dies her hair red, is she a red head, or just a redhead in disguise? Also not sure but I think you can show an Arshire in the Red & White Dairy Cattle shows, including exspo.

Canuk
Glad to hear from you.You seem to have a handle on what is going on with the reds in Canada. Is the rumuor true?
You are right about the U.S. red&white shows.Talked to them yesterday.Any animals that are registered with them and are red in color can be shown, regardless of parentage or genotype.
The redhead comment needs to be explained.
