Triple Threat, Citation R, and old A.B.C, are the only makers , very few have been Enhancers, but none quite like Rubens. As for strickly R&W bulls, none really could go on either list, but that is bound to change at some point.

Sept Storm will most likely be an Enhancer, along with, Leader, Rubens ect. Not sure if Ranger was either. If the Insperation you refer to is Hanoverhill Insperation he has no red in him, only B/R.
Why is it taking so long? well what bulls were available in R&W in say 1998? not much, that pretty well sums it up.

How about these reds from Europe like Lighting, Magisto, Marcel, Yes that Insperation BR* they still are born red it's a tough call. Are they still considered red? There are many shades of red. Where would you put him B&W or R&W or in the middle.

There's no 'middle' about it, inspiration cannot sire a true red animal, he may sire some red calves, as will storm etc but they will not stay red. There are many shades of red but black is not one of them.

I've just bought a Red bull.A son of Carousell Regiment.Could you tell me the lightlyhood he will throw Reds from my Black and Whites ? Some of my B&Ws are by Reubens how much higher is the chance from them ?

The only chance of getting any reds is if some of the black and whites are red carriers. If they aren't already red carriers, the best you will do is get some calves that are black and white, but red carriers.

The daughters of rubens have a 50% of being red carrier, if they are a red carrier then using a true red bull will give you a 50% chance of a red calf, 50% x 50% is 25%.
The rubens daughters have a 25% chance of giving you a red calf from your red bull.(I think???!!!???) As for the other heifers, if there are no red or red carrier bulls close up in the ancestry the chances of getting a red calf are very slim. (someone correct me if this is a load of bull)
