33.2ppl base paid by United today, a brilliant price, just a pity they couldn't have turned the 2 upside-down (5) ho hum!

Fane Valley paid 33.75ppl base.

Lets hope it continues...
Biggest problem down south now is a superlevy situation.

Re: Milk price

Good news, I know that this thread is quite heavy with NI input. What does that take the FM price to, I have some sympathy as like United has been FM has been getting a kicking from all quarters.

It seems to me that the milk prices in Northern Ireland at the moment are the best in Britain. Makes a change from the last decade.

I have heard elsewhere it is 32.75p from Fane Valley.

With Red Tractor too which is helpful. Presumably transport rebates should be coming in a couple of weeks. I heard some talk of a 13th payment, I guess that the focus will be on delivering a good headline price which is transparent for everyone both inside and outside comparing processors.

I stand corrected DownCows, SORRY

It was an early report I heard that put it at 33.75ppl as opposed to 32.75ppl.

This mysterious 13th payment is only for large producers (in excess of 1m litres - i.e. NOT US!) and only until October.

Re: Milk price
