Rugby

Good game of rugby last night. Gregor Townsend squeaked the Sharks home against the Harlequins. I hope it is too early in the season to make a prognosis on the Sharks in the Super 12.

Re: Rugby

If their defence doesn't improve from one of the Quins tries they are in for a long, hard season. Four sharks got a good piece of the man and he still managed to score from the 22.

The problem with being on top, is that everyone wants to knock you off.

I expect England to win [sign in to see URL] not without a few scares!!

Nobody's mentioned Wales as possible winner, I think we could be the shock package, you saw glimpses of brilliance from us in oz & I think theres more to come.
Realistically though I don't think we'll win, reckon the French will do it with England, Ireland and Wales scrapping for second.

Re: Rugby

Interesting to see Iwan, whether that was genuine progress we saw from Wales in the world cup, or whether it was a side with nothing to lose, throwing caution to the wind!!

Scotland at home, should provide entertainment. I was at this fixture in Edinburgh last year, and it was dire. I can not believe that either side can be that bad again.

I believe like you, that France will be well up for this tournament. Could see some great rugby from them!!! Just wonder whether Ireland may be on the slide?? (bound to provoke a response I guess).

But, hey this is the six nations and anything can happen!!!!

Take your seats please.
Here we go!!!!!!

No need to add much to that.

Ireland didn't look like a team on the slide against wales on saturday did they now???

New centre partnership looks really good although i know its only been one game and if Darcy is fit for the England game he will have a bit more of a test against Jason Robinson. Geordan Murphy is playing again and i hope they put him on the bench and bring him on in the second half like england used to do with Robinson!

Lets just hope O'Driscoll is fully fit :sa

Re: Rugby

I hope Robinson goes back to fullback now. The Scots knew roughly where to find him and he is wasted going into contact in the centre. Let someone else make the gaps for Robinson to run into. Possibly give Paul a start at centre.
Also bring back Dawson at 9.
