Is it election day yet?

I am so sick of all this BS. Please let Nov 2 get here soon. I heard today that car dealers sales are off because all the TV ad time is taken up with political attack commercials. I live in a "swing state" so I am inundated with propaganda. Also I am sick of having Bush and Cheney flying over the farm on their way to campaign events. They come in helicopters and fly over my barn often during milking causing the cows to kick. We live on a flight path between a AirForce Base and several important cities. I support Bush but I would vote against my brother if he talked to loud during milking!

Watched both Moore's movies and read his books, Bowling For Columbine was way better than Fahrenheit 9/11, which lacked real oomph. Moore is manipulative and over the top but he's also on the money a lot of the time.

The other night I was watching a documentary made by one of this countrys most respected journalists.
I was quite surprised by the fact that some members of the bin ladin family was at a meeting with the Carlyle group on 9/11 -01
the only none military airoplane allowed in the air the afternoon of that day was the one that gathered all the family members of the bin ladin family and flew them to Saudi Arabia ??? emoticon

Oh? I didn't know that. Puzzling.

Our UK news is plastered almost daily with Bush in somewhere like Ohio. Kerry gets much less airtime here, as he isn't nearly as entertaining to watch. Our comedians are having a really fun time with the whole thing. Rory Bremner does a really good 'Donald Rumsfeld'.

If its any comfort, I live on a flight path too, which was quite busy in the past, but less so now that we have so-called peace.

Moore is liberal schill. He opposes gun ownership, and is against every conservative position on issues of moral fiber. He is touring local colleges and visited Ohio State, my sister wanted to see how bad he truely is, and she said he was a total slime ball. He was trying to bribe people to vote for Kerry by giving them macoroni and cheese, and clean underwear. I know it sounds stupid. But even those insignificant items constitute the "buying" of votes.

His movie F-9/11 has basically been proven to be totally debunked. The bin laden family thing is a perfect example. It was in all the papers over here at the time. Too many people don't pay attention to the news so it seemed like a bigger story to some then it should. Bin Ladin is one of like 56 kids, or cousins(?) in his rich family. I have 44 first cousins I don't know what 44 of them are doing at this moment. If one of them massacred 3000 people I sure as hell would want out of the country until tempers died down a little. Also Richard Clark, a former Bush and Clinton underling, who doesn't like Bush and wrote a book that was not very flattering, said it was his call on the bin laden family. They were questioned and sent out of the country, because people feared for their safety.

I know that Bush has very little impact on my life as a farmer, but I know that Kerry will send the Enviromental Protection Agency back into active policing of their policies. Which means over regulation and problems for agriculture.

I have not seen F-9/11, In the documentary I saw they where talking to quite a few "men on the inside" or that used to be.
They found it to be more than a little strange that the Bush people had no intrest in questioning the Bin ladin family before letting them fly home.
I won't dwell deeper into this since it most likely would make you think I'm anti-American but this film made F-9/11 look every bit as twisted and bent out of shape as I've been told it really is.
It still made Bush look bad and Cheney even worse emoticon

I tend to err on the conservative side of issues, although I think conservatives must always be updating their positions according to the changing times. This doesn't mean abandoning values. UK conservatives, for example, fail here.

Liberals seem to want to over-tax and over-regulate the people who make wheels turn, in order to provide for the people who use the system as an easy life.

George Bush just doesn't seem to be quite bright enough for the job. He spends too much time looking proud and patriotic and unphased by trouble.

Wheels in America's industries are turning slower and slower, and Kerry will probably shut everything down, given a chance.

The best man for the job doesn't want anything to do with the dirty life of politics. Thats the problem.

With all due respect Buckeye, this was the greatest calamity the US ever suffered, Pearl Harbour included. Surely the Bin Laden family could have been kept safe within the borders of the USA. Anyway you look it at it, their hasty removal without any questioning/ interrogation when ALL other flights were grounded was very curious.
