Re: New arrival!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the Congratulations!

All my wife's friends had decided that she was having them on and that she wasn't pregnant at all!!

She has banned comparisons with cows but you are right Broa!

The best way to really annoy an expecting wife, refer to her 'calving' date. It is best to leave the area at once, preferably at very high speed.

Add in a bit about ropes and calving aids.

When our neighbour stopped breastfeeding my father made an enemy for life when he mentioned that the cow better be pregnant again by the time she dries up

Re: New arrival!!!!!!!!!!!!

when the obstetrician asked my husband if he was worried about me having an emergency ceaser dear hubby said nah no different to doing one on a cow!!
We recently had a wake here and one of our mates apologized for not coming as he had cows calving, a wife springing and it wouldnt do to be caught for drink driving on the way to the hospital.
i guess it all depends on how practical you are!

One other thing..........

Watching Boro thrash Lazio -one of the biggest names in European football- 2-0 at the Riverside!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been to a game for a while so I hadn't heard one of the songs the crowd were singing before. It went like this:

"There's only one Bolo Zenden,
 One Bolo Zenden,
 He used to be shite,
 But now he's alright,
 Walking in a Zenden wonderland!!"

Fortunatly Bolo doesn't seem to mind the humour of an English football crowd !!
