Sorry Joe have enough trouble with the boyfriend i have let alone have another on the side.

No you wouldnt have to buy me jewelry but a subscription to HI and crazycow would be mandatory, as well as all the AI catalogues i could possibly read (english versions only). Bundaburg rum is required every couple of weekends to keep the system functioning but cruiser blacks can be substituted(7% vodka).

(Oh and i have nothing against any breed of cow as long as she dont aim at you in the dairy or take 1/2 hr to milk)

Welcome!

Living the good life in WI, just took off on my own in my mid 20's. Milking 40 cows with plans to be at 80(gotta finish the second barn) by summer. Traditional midwest housing in a tiestall with extra cows on an outdoor bedded pack. Feeding a simple diet of corn silage, baleage and roasted soybeans(6-9lbs daily with mineral is the only nonforage they are getting). Shipping 70-75 lbs daily(we aren't pushing them real hard). Got 15 registered cows(5 excellent, 5 very good, 5 two years old yet to be scored) at present, the rest are ET carriers. Working with some decent cow famalies.

Hi, I am in my late 20's and farm on a 120 cow registered holstein farm in WI. We buy all of our feed and concentrate on the cows. Just came across this site and it is nice to find others who enjoy dairy cattle as much as I do. Graduated from UWRF with a major in Ag. Business. Would love to get into some high profile cow families and use our herd as recipients. But it all takes time, money, and patience

My name is Neil Oughton, farming in partnership with parents and a brother in Gloucestershire. Milking 300 Holsteins and developing the PI families within the herd alongside a few of the homegrown ones. Just in the process of installing 2 robot milkers for the top end of the herd.

My own little part time enterprise is a flock of Charollais sheep, currently the 2nd largest flock in the UK and the highest indexing.
