I am milking 2 Jocko heifers. They are both nice looking cattle with very good udders, though they are slightly small. The one problem is that they are both very high cell counts.

Sounds quite common, are the udders tight enough? have seen some heifers that look like 3rd calvers!

Sorry I am only now commenting... I have got several Jocko's in the area with around 15 fresh, look ok - good rumps, loin strength, no f+l problems, good rear rib, perhaps a little more stretch needed throughout but udder depth is certainly not an issue. A couple appear to be a little steady for milking speed but not "slow".

All but 1 of our Manats were bulls. As far as the heifer goes, she's going on 2 yrs old and starting to look pretty good. Up until a few months ago you would have needed a blindfold to look at her though or you might have hurt your eyes. :shake
