Thurl Placement
Thurl Placement was discussed in a previous thread, but I was curious as to which bulls everyone thinks do the best job. I would vote for Durham on our farm, as they are all nearly perfect. (if you can spot them standing still !)

Re: Thurl Placement
at the risk of being booted off here ,and being accused of blowing our own trumpet.A bull that we have imported and resold that really has done wonders for rumps, feet and legs has been Skagvale confidence.

Re: Thurl Placement
Jolt, Elegant, and Linjet have done a good job. Also, I have to mention Storm.

Re: Thurl Placement
We have a Lee that is a real improvement over her Juror dam,and the show we were at today I was keeping an eye on the other peoples cattle and it seems the Lees were real good in this aspect.

Re: Thurl Placement
Actually Bell may have many faults but his decendents are better than most on this trait.Blackstar and Mark both seem bad and Jed.Put Mark and Blackstar together and you get bulls such as Juror who isn't good on this trait.
Most Starbuck decendents are quite good I think.
