Moviestar
any SemenWorld men on here? If so has anyone used Moviestar much? We've had a few heifers calve down by him and i'm fairly undecided. Two are ok, fairly workmanlike, but with just a few features that spoil appearance (lack of depth in udder, extremely long teats, teats leaning forward)
The other is an eyesore! It looked very nice when dry, but it calved down with an awful bag .Normally i would expect an heifer to calve with an untidy bag but shape up by the third or fourth week but this has been calved longer and is showing no signs of improvement, which is questioning my views on Moviestar.
Anybody else know anything so we know whether to use him in the future? Overall i would say the heifers by him are ok but lack depth of udder. But this disaster heifer is worrying me, especially when it is out of a good cow!
Heifers can be different beasts altogether by the scond calf though.
Replies appreciated

Re: Moviestar
How do you mean depth of udder? Don't you want shallow udders on your heifers?
