Robthom Integrity

I have never used Integrity but have been thinking about it for the last year or so. For those who have used him or seen a lot of daughters, I have a question: How tall are they and do they have enough frame to show? Of course, he's had some big time winners, but are these cows the norm or is he a bull who can throw one once in a while while the rest are nothing special?

Looking at his US proof, I expected him to be higher on udder traits as well, but I think that might have something to do with depreciation due to age.

They are dairy and taller. I have had good looking cows and when used on larger framed cows will make show winners. Protect him for feet and legs. Also mine have not been the most durable animals. I have said before that they are like children who would rather play with scissors than their rattle.

Re: Robthom Integrity

he throws two sorts
the big tall long rangy fancy sort that would eat you alive and then there's the others....
they die within 24 hours of birth, have absoluetely no will to live and if they do are fussy finiky sorts which is why we wont use him again.
our oldest one is springing and is the first sort.

Re: Robthom Integrity

We have one of those fussy finicky ones fresh right now. Her calf has been very slow starting, I fear we may lose it. The cow has had in this order, retained placenta, mastitis, an infection associated with the metritis, and now milk fever. I have not had a problem with any other resently fresh cows or heifers. I have at one time or another had to treat that cow for scours as a calf, and a sore hoof. Affectionately known as "Pinky" on the farm because she was such a runt for the longest time.
