Have one fresh she went 83 as a two year old she needs an udder though. She has no mammary development and big long teats. She went excellent in frame and body and I believe was 77 in the udder. She has a good udder it just needs to develop.

This might just be the problem in breeding solely for show calves. No one ever expected great udders or production from this bull so why the surprises now? There are other popular show-calf bulls, out there now, that will probably be exactly the same. Selecting bulls purely for show calves is ok on a few cows to breed a calf for the kids to show but some breeders get duped into using them across the herd after hearing all the hype.

Indies - how did your classification go? Was it better than the last one - you had mentioned a heifer that was sick that was underscored because she was out of condition - how did she do?

That was a Manat that went 79 she was raised to 83 with an 85 MS late in her first lactation. As for the rest of the day we were very pleased two new excellent cows, two new 93 pointers (3 total), one at 92, a 91 point 3 year old (93 MS), and two VG two year olds. We currently have 13 excellent cows with a BAA of 110.1.
