Re: I have in the Tank...
Seasonal systems are all about getting cows in calf as quickly as possible. I take it Organic means no hormonal treatments, so DPR would be my number one selection criteria. Bulls from my stable in order of DPR: Snazzy, Jolokia, Deify,Hotshot, Fireball, Flagship (my seasonal guys don't use him because they are too big, but probably not a problem over there.) I really like the OCD Yoder Cinder bull at ABS, he would work.

Re: I have in the Tank...
Flagships too big? As in Jedi's brother?
Any Flagship calves born here have been minute. They look about a month premature!
They do grow rapidly, so that at least nearly catch up with their peers.
I have had a few Deify calves. One or two of them can be a little on the big side. I quite like the Deifys that I have.

Re: I have in the Tank...
Mature size Errolston, not as calves - Flagship's should be small at 5.8%CE.

Re: I have in the Tank...
There is no way the Flagships will be big cows. They are way too fine to grow into big cows.
Tall, narrow cows, possibly; big cows, no chance.

Re: I have in the Tank...
Sorry I've not been on in a while so some have been used up.
Mogul sexed for cows and heifers
King doc sexed for cows and heifers
Montross sexed for cows and heifers
Absolutely fantastic conception from mogul and king doc
Recently added sexed Jedi, sexed kingboy and sexed copycat.
Moving away from conventional semen to REDUCE heifer calves, sounds mad I know but just being selective and breeding the cows we want to have daughters off and beef semen on the rest
