Verizon Wireless Starcomm GzOne V Type Phone

Having a ruggedized, waterproof phone seems to be a good thing. Tonight I really tested it. I was feeding calves in the dark. My father carried off my flashlight. The phone's camera's flash doubles as a flashlight. As I was pouring the milk into the calf buckets, one of them bucked me and the phone flew into about three gallons of milk. A quick rinse and wash with hand soap and it was good as new. I highly recommend this phone, and similar phones from the same manufacturer.

got one of these too...dropped this phone more times then I can count. Built like a tank and pretty much waterproof. It passed my 3 year old nephews hard core phone treatment. Which was prolly the bigger test.

Mine phone is a Nokia 5500 sport.

Plenty of dents where it's been dropped so many times, and has even survived being dropped into a drainage inspection pit flooded with liquid slurry.

Still going strong after 18 months of abuse. Would recommend.

When people ask to borrow my phone they always krinkle their nose because it smells like teat dip. My dad was pulling a calf once, and the phone rang for a call he was expecting. He answered the phone with one arm in the cow. He then dropped it into the anionic fluid and before he could pick it up, the cow stepped on it. He had to show it to the lady at the counter when he needed to get the replacement. You would have thought he brought a sack of hissing cobras.

Rule number 1: Never borrow another dairy farmer's phone, because you know what you have done to yours.

I have this phone too. I have run it through the washing machine twice, and I have also managed to run over it with the cattle trailer carrying six large holsteins. It keeps on ticking, the thing is a tank.

Got a Samsung C300.

No camera, no bluetooth, no radio etc. It sends texts and makes phonecalls. Dropped it loads, dents galore but she still works!

Cost me £20 brand new a year ago.

Not getting one of these phones but I am getting a Motorola defy. Anyways I was wondering if any of the other cowtalkers had any apps/programs on their phones to do with cows? Like a mini-management type thing. Notepad, breeding, treatments etc. any help would be appreciated.
