Moo Monitor / Select Detect

Anyone using this heat detection system?
Or Is there anyone using similar systems?

Does it work well?

Craigalea

There is a thread in Dairy management about heat detection devices (page 3 or 4). I know Jonnylungs has Select Detect.

Re: Moo Monitor / Select Detect

I was about ready to curse the whole system this morning as a whole pen of collars stopped working three days ago.

Then I realized some idiot decided to unplug one of my base stations and not plug it back in.

I love the system. The first year we didn't see much improvement in Repro but the second year we are doing much better now as we get used to it.

Worst part has been changing batteries. Once the first few go out, get ready to change them all.
